I adopted my dog my from my local animal shelter just two months ago. My family thought about getting a dog for a long time now, and I made it clear that if we’re going to get a dog, it is going to be from our local animal shelter. When we went there, so many beautiful dogs came barking at us, wanting us to take them home. They were all very cute; however, one stood out- the one that was too tired to bark. He smelled of dog cologne and deodorant. He sat at the very side corner and just looked at us passing. He was the cutest dog we had ever seen and we all immediately knew he will be out new friend. When we brought him home everyone fell in love with him, and just a few weeks, he is barking and running all over our house. We are the luckiest parents!

I was six years old when I went to a drive-in with my family (yes, I’m that old) and saw Star Wars for the very first time. Darth Vader was the first character who ever made my jaw drop. The special effects, cutting edge for their day, were nothing short of captivating. And R2D2 and C3PO provided just enough comic banter to keep the film from getting too heavy. Since then, every time I’ve seen this movie, I’ve found another reason to like it. George Lucas seemed determined to fill every frame with a fascinating detail. And just writing about Star Wars makes me want to load the DVD in the player again.

His proficiency is absolutely seen with profound awe with gasping mouth.

Last weekend was my wife and my 20th wedding anniversary. I had planned a great weekend. We live in upstate NY. We have a 15 year old son. I got tickets for him and his two uncles and a cousin to a Yankee Game. I got tickets for us to Jersey Boys on Broadway. The plan was good except you cannot plan the weather. Last weekend called for continuous rain and thunderstorms. That would have really made seeing the game for the boys and us walking around NY City really a problem. Traffic was also just terrible. We went down and although it rained, there were certainly lulls. The Yankee game went on 8/29 and they won against Chicago 10-0. We got to see the show and the rain stopped enough to walk around the City. All in all it worked out fine.

Activities I like to do many different things when I am looking to have fun. I love spending time with both friends and family. I also enjoy watching television and movies. I enjoy reading many different things, especially novels. I also like to participate in several different crafts. I especially find scrap booking to be rewarding because it is a wonderful way to preserve memories for future generations. Other than scrap booking, I also like to do painting, drawing, and crafts with wood. I also like to make cards. I find that people appreciate a homemade card compared to one that was purchased.

A balanced nutritional diet on veterinarian advice is very important to your beloved dogs to protect against all sorts of ailments and especially physical allergies. Generally some people will protect the dog always that is throughout the day and some people will protect them for majority of the time. The best one is you have to protect or keep your dogs with you for majority of the time only. Hence, your dogs will be so pleasant lovable always with you.
Dogs are a man’s best friend

We have two dogs and love to have them in our house. The problem is we also have a young two year old son and we would like to keep the dog out of our baby’s room so we had to buy retractable dog gates. It was a great buy since it goes right in front of the door and keeps out dogs out of his room. We also bought a few for the kitchen and our bedroom since they work so well. Dogs will go anywhere where people are, so these gates are essential if you want to keep the dogs out of areas that you do not want them to be in.
Being unemployed for almost a year, I decided that I should grow some of my own food. But not being a farmer by trade, I underestimated the amount of tomatoes you get from one plant. Being optimistic, I planted not one, not two, but ten plants! I now have tomatoes coming out of my ears! But, on the flip side, I have met more of my neighbors this summer than in all the years I’ve lived here. As I share my bounty with neighbors, they mention that so-and-so down the block likes tomatoes, so off I go with my little basket of sunshine. Next year I won’t put in ten plants, but I will definitely plant enough to share. Today, life is good!

A Hard Transition

It has been hard getting used to being a stay-at-home mom. My daughter is 4 months old and for the past five months I have been what would be considered a homemaker. Before I had my daughter, I worked at a local PetSmart as a manager. It was a hard transition going from working almost fifty hours a week to sitting around cooped up in the house all day. It has taken a while but I have finally started finding things to do. My husband keeps saying he has never seen the house stay this clean. I am able to do a load or two of laundry at a time instead of waiting and trying to do all the clothes on my days off. Most importantly, however, I feel it is my calling as a mother to be there to see my daughter grow and change. I would not miss it for the world.
