Main dish was spicy roasted chicken with cayenne pepper and paprika. I made fresh corn coleslaw, with what I had in the fridge but used a fresh lemon instead of bottled lemon juice. I had a salad made from romaine lettuce, fresh basil, fresh red tomatoes, some red onion, mandarin orange sections, pine nuts, dried cranberries, and a safflower oil and vinegar dressing topped with sea salt and crushed black pepper. I served red potatoes (quartered) and drenched with olive oil, then sprinkled with parsley, dill, rosemary and oregano, topped with sea salt and crushed black pepper. I made desert with Amaretto and Ginger Ale and homemade vanilla ice cream.

Self confident in human life
Dec 28

In our life the people should have a self confident. now a days the people should not have the self confident. the confident level is very lack. The people should come up in their life. everyone should have the confident. for example i had more confident in myself thats why i got state level. so if we think anything in our life we should achieve it. so you need more confident to do that. if you want to achieve that you have to face many problems and you are ready to face that problem again and again. Then only you will achieve it. Also our aim is most important that should be very positive and good way. It should not effect anyone life. and if you think it is good and you can do you go ahead. you think always positively and confidently. It is helpful to everyone. give always best and good without effect anyone life. be confident it is very useful to your life. and your life is your special gift use it in a good way then u will become a successful person. achieve everything you wish. and success is a journey it is not a destination. no life is so hard that you can’t make it easier by the way you take it. Be confident always…
Single Mother AKA SUPERMOM
Dec 25
I am a single mother, divorced by choice, but the divorce included a Victims Protection Order if that tells you anything. Shortly after my divorce I ended up back with my parents, with everything in my life a mess, but I just kept trying, maybe just maybe I would get it right. Next thing I know my daughter was diagnosed with autism. My first reaction was denial, then shock, then OMG what am I going to do now. It took my 5 years to do it, but through night classes and lots of patience with my daughter, I have my Associates degree. Two more years, and I am anticipating my graduation this December with my Bachelors Degree, pending passing Chemical Toxicology. I work 40 hours a week, taking 21 hours in order to complete my degree this December, and thank my family and friends everyday for giving me the support that I need to make it to the next day. And I am now counting down the days, because when I walk across the stage, with my daughter watching, I will know that I have finally gotten it right.
My Pet Dog
Dec 21
I would like to tell about my pet dog, which is not only my pet; he is also my best friend. Little things we do together really are memorable moments for me. The little pranks I play on him, the little things he do are such a big moments for me. Where ever I go, he also tries to follow me. When I come from somewhere, he will be rounding me and looking at me. Seeing his happiness, I too get happy. I think to my self, did I mean so much to him! It’s very hilarious when playing the ball with him. He too tries to kick balls and when I dribble the ball, he tries to run around me and block me. That’s an exercise for me and him too when not much friends are there around to play. I have given him a nice little kennel and for warmth, I put lots of old clothes in it, where the toy dog clothes in it and cuddles for the warmth. I want to care my pet like it cares for me.
A Game to Remember
Dec 21
This weekend started out like any other weekend. I got out of work Friday, and headed to the park with the guys for our traditional weekly kickball game. My friend James, who is nothing short of a kickball fanatic, showed us all his new ball. It was a beauty. The ball was a magnificent rubber gem, brand new and free from the usual wear and tear of our usual sporting equipment. It’s amazing how an object so simple, can bring so much childish fun to the hearts of grown men. The game was off to a dull start. The usual teams of the guys from Brown Street vs. York Street have created a predictable groove. Each player has realized the other’s abilities and this created a game where nobody was able to score. That is until I got up to kick (Little had my friends realized that I had been practicing kickball with my sons this week). The pitcher, Mikey D, rolled the ball towards me. I focused on the ball and kicked with all my might. The ball soared through the air, over the fence. It was a home-run! My buddies cheered and jumped for joy as I rounded the bases. It would be the only run scored that game. Our team, Brown Street, would be this week’s victors. It felt great.
Lust for speed

One of my favorite TV shows is definitely Top Gear. UK show about cars. There are 3 men that are testing vehicles in an amazing way with a dose of fantastic British humor. Results of their tests are of course real and serious, they just present us in some hilarious way. Jeremy is “the smartest” one the other two can’t say a word against him, and he’s constantly making jokes on “hamster” (he called him like that because he’s small). Despite their childish behavior they are truly professionals and fantastic drivers. Every episode is a story for itself and I enjoy every bit of it.

I’m a college student at the University Of Delaware. I spend most days just sitting around, surfing the net. But not today. Today something odd happened. Out of the middle of no where I got a call today. An old friend from high school, a friend that I haven’t spoken too in years, called me up asking if I wanted to go to lunch with her. I agreed because, lets face it, who’s going to reject a blast from their past? So I go to lunch with her and really connect. Now I’m looking at a party invite for Saturday, and best of all, a chance to expand my friends list with old favorites.
Rekindling My Youth
Dec 8
Whenever I get tired of working and doing all the responsibilities expected of a “mature” adult, I sit back and enjoy my favorite PC games. I installed a PlayStation emulator on my desktop a week back, and it was such a joy rediscovering my favorite PlayStation games from the early 90’s. I can spend hours just immersed in my well-loved arcade games, and even my husband joins me in this activity, so it’s also bonding time for the two of us. My favorite games are Snobow Kids Plus (which we finished to the end the other day) and Crash Team Racing (which we are still struggling to finish until today). I think I will never get tired of playing them, and I know that whenever I need my daily dose of fun, all I need is to just turn on my PC and play those games over and over again.

Riding on Water
Dec 6
I live in an area with many lakes and rivers which range from calm still waters to roiling and boiling whitewater. Enjoying the water is easy, inexpensive, and never the same twice. Depending on the people with me, we can use a rowboat for a leisurely ride, a motorboat for faster travel, paddle a canoe down a fast moving current, float across the top in an inner tube, or use any other floating objects. A short trip or longer voyage is possible. This is a very happy way to spend time without the daily worries of life interfering, it offers a feeling of peace and contentment.
A Hearty Favorite
Dec 4
My husband loves meat and potatoes. That’s the way he was raised and will probably be until the day he dies. So, last night for dinner we had Lasagna flavored Hamburger Helper, mashed potatoes with the skins on, corn with a butter sauce, and hot buttermilk biscuits. Unfortunately, I cooked the hamburger helper too long so the noodles were quite mushy. I was trying to have dinner ready when my husband got home and finished too early, so the meal had to sit on the burner staying warm for a long time. I do add additional noodles to the hamburger helper though because there’s never enough in the little package they give you in the box. For dessert, we had a homemade apple spice cake full of nutmeg and cinnamon flavors.
