Oh, why do you like science so much?

This was the thing that terrified my friends. “How can you like something so hard?” they said. Well it is not that hard – it is just more complex. The connections between different molecules are incredible.  The laws that everybody abides by and never manages to break are fascinating. The tiny living things in the soil that allow the plants to grow are like a miracle. The curiosity of a child is an incredible force – asking restlessly. And the science is the class that gives the answers. Even better – it gives a way to search for your own answers.

Animals – can you really choose only one?

A friend of mine asked me once about my favorite animal. I study biology – how can I have a favorite animal. There are so many choices. The kitten next door, the penguins, the tigers, the koalas are all very cute. Even in the lab, when we look at some microorganisms they seem so full of life, so energetic and always one the move. How can a person not like animals? I had a cat for thirteen years. I love cats. My neighbor has 2 dogs. How can I hate dogs?  A friend of mine has a snake and 3 big spiders plus an iguana in his home. And they are all beautiful and deserve to be loved.

Onemanga.com – my favorite place on the web.

I wondered once why this is my favorite site. I instantly found some good answers – I like to read manga, I enjoy a good laugh. But after that I realized – are this the only things that I do there? Well, this isn’t the case. With the almost instant updates of the most popular titles and even not the most popular ones, it is really a great place to be. It has forums, where you can talk to other people with the same interests. Add a friendly community and there it is – a perfect oasis in the boring desert of the World Wide Web.

Careless Teen

I would like to be a careless teenager all over again. No care for the future, no past, only the present. The time when I felt like I was born to be immortal. The clouds of smoke, the strong beverages and the parties like there was no tomorrow. The garage Jam sessions of wannabe rock stars. When we penned and sang our lyrics about love, peace and utopia. Those were the years when we were scared to reach the twentieth year of our lives. Head banging for eternity, teenage years do come back to me, cuddle me and take me back to you in time. Where is my TIME MACHINE?
